On IHI Web site, the terms "TURBO COMPRESSOR" and "CENTRIFUGAL COMPRESSOR" are used. Both names refer to the centrifugal compressor ("centrifugal" is more common). However, we proudly refer to the IHI centrifugal compressors as "turbo compressor".
