The NK-type compressor has the following features:
- Prevents contact ignition
- The clearance between the shaft seal and the impeller shroud is minimized through accurate vibration analysis, while assuring that no contact occurs. And a thin layer of silver is applied to both the bearing and the impeller to prevent ignition should the shaft seal make direct contact with the impeller during impeller shroud operation.
- Prevents oxygen gas from flowing into the gearbox mounted in the compressor casing
- Oxygen flow to the gearbox is prevented by supplying nitrogen from the gas passage of the gearbox, which carries oxygen to the outside of the mechanically-sealed structure.
NK-series Centrifugal Geared Oxygen Compressor
- Prevents oil mist from flowing into gearbox
- The gearbox pressure is kept under atmospheric pressure by a ventilation fan.
- Keeps oxygen oil-free
