IHI will exhibit in the “Environment and Energy” field.
“Future City” is a place where wide range of visitors from Japan and abroad can experience technology that gives them a sense of the future based on the concept of Society 5.0.
Through those experiences, people will receive “questions” and “suggestions” for the future.
A society that is supported by technologies that are in harmony with nature, and where carbon neutrality will be realized and safe and secure living can continue indefinitely.
IHI aims to create the exhibition that visitors can bring back with such hopes for the future.

This project is a general term to mention a group of projects that provide experiences to a wide range of participants and visitors from Japan and abroad by utilizing technologies and services that support the theme of the Expo, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives” for the development, operation, exhibition, and events of the Expo site which will be a “People’s Living Lab”, in the form of “demonstration” that gives a sense of the future after 2025 and “implementation” that is suitable for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
The project consists of six projects: “Smart Mobility Expo”, “Digital Expo”, “Virtual Expo”, “Art Expo”, “Green Expo”, and “Future Life Expo”.
An incubation type project “Future City”, one of the concepts of the “Future Life Expo”, implements various ideas.
IHI will create “Future City” full of hope in cooperation with Niterra Co., Ltd. and Hitachi Zosen Corporation, who exhibit in the same field.
