J3 Turbojet Engine
This exhibit presents Japan's first truly domestically produced jet engine. Using Japanese technology, IHI took the lead in developing and bringing this engine to mass production in 1959, thus marking the beginning of Japan's aerospace industry.

Ishikawajima Hirano Shipyard
Established in 1876, the Ishikawajima Hirano Shipyard was Japan's first privately managed Western-style shipyard.
Here, the launch ceremony for the iron warship Chokai and dock repair for the Meiji Maru are on display.
Wolseley CP Type Truck
Wolseley CP Type Truck
This exhibit presents the first Wolseley CP type truck manufactured in Japan by IHI in 1924. As Japan's first commercial car, the Wolseley CP marks the dawn of the country's auto industry.
