IHI Marine Co., Ltd.(IMC) is an engineering group company for ships' safety operation and providing consistent service of necessary technical support, parts supply, inspection and maintenance of machinery, emergency repair, docking repair etc. for all new buildings and operating ships.
IMC was established as for specialized voyage repair and supply of marine spare parts by IHI Corporation in 1975.
In addition, IMC is serving IHI built ships' after service, ship repair business of dry-docking repair work to merchant vessels, development and sales of marine information technology known as ADMAX, and in 1999, merged IHI Marine International Inc.(IMI) who served mainly to support new building in overseas.
