Advantageous Features
  1. The angle of the wide wooden cap is adjusted automatically to a rise of floor of the bottom to receive the load and protect the ship bottom.
  2. The automatically adjusted supporting mechanism prevents overloading and eliminates manual adjustments by divers etc.
  3. The stand-alone design allows easy relocation and proper setting. No pipings and cables allow easy work on the dock floor.
  4. Corrosion resistant materials、 concealed components and the absence of external piping permit safe operation、 easy maintenance and long service life.
  5. The TRIMMER can be removed from the ship bottom and reset simply by operating valves to enable easy repair work on the bottom.
  6. The flooding and drying-up of the dock for block adjustment can largely be reduced、 saving energy and man-hours and improving the turnover of the dock.

TRIMMER Explanation2 As the ship lowers by water draining inside the dock、 the ship bottom lands on the TRIMMER.
TRIMMER Explanation3 The TRIMMERS then keep the firm contact to support the ship with constant pressure in combination with keel blocks as the ship settles on the latter.
