| Escravos was built at IHI Aichi Works and towed to Nigeria after completion of the gas trial in Japan, and permanently moored utilizing an external turret mooring system at the site. The FSO is designed to operate for 20 years without docking. This unique design challenges and special features such as IHI SPB LPG containment system are introduced to answer to the requirements of the site condition and the long uninterrupted operations. | |
