Introduction IHI delivered a cogeneration system with IM270 to Coca-Cola East Japan Products via Energy Advance Co., Ltd. in November, 2003.
This system can supply 2,100kW of electricity and 6 ton/hour of steam.
To reduce the energy cost and CO2, the user installed the cogeneration system with the accumlator unit and the plant is operated with fixed load.
With this cogeneration system, the customer achieved 8.2% of energy saving and 12.2% of CO2 reduction.
