Roppongi Hills was opened in April, 2003 and Roppongi Energy Service Co., Ltd. was established as a provider of electricity and steam to cover the building, hotel, residences.
In the basement of Roppongi Hills, 6units of IM400IHI-FLECS cogeneration system were installed by IHI.
This system is usually operated by natural gas but it can also be operated by Kerosene in the case of emergency.(Dual Fuel)
