Toyosu Energy Service Co., Ltd.(TESCO) supplies the electricity to Toyosu-IHI Build. and steam to Toyosu-IHI Build. & Shibaura University with a cogeneration system at Toyosu 3-chome area, in Tokyo.
This cogeneration system uses IM270-IHI-FLECS which was originally developed as Variable Heat and Power system by IHI.
Furthermore, IM270-IHI-FLECS and Back Pressure Steam Turbine are enable the plant to generate additional energy when excess steam is emitted.
