Tostem Corporation has been planning to install a cogeneration system for their factories to reduce CO2.

IHI delivered a natural gas fired cogeneration system to Tostem Hisai Factory (located in Mie prefacture) via Toho Gas Co., Ltd. in January, 2005.
IHI has accumulated 10 experiences of installation for IHI-FLECS system in this area.
Using the "IHI-FLECS" technology, the customer who has not so much demand of steam can get some merits of operation.
In addition, IHI has a good reputation with the aero-derivative type gas turbine cogeneration system as it has advantages for maintenance and space saving.
