LM2500 Series models are two-shaft gas turbines for land and marine applications, derived from TF39 and CF6-50 model aircraft engines manufactured by General Electric (GE), an American company. IHI has built up a lot of experiences and a proven record in producing gas turbines for use in power generation, mechanical drive systems, and marine engines.
