We held an open house to show gratitude to DU employees and their families.
On the day also we held the presentation ceremony of an alphorn by Wärtsilä Switzerland, followed by various festivities (Tuna cooking show etc.) with our guests, including managers of IHI group companies, our clients and suppliers.
DU was established on 1st. October 1988, by merger of Diesel Engines Divisions of IHI and Sumitomo Heavy Industries, Ltd. Ever since, DU has played an important role as a licensed manufacturer of Wärtsilä Switzerland and S.E.M.T. Pielstick.
Looking back on the past 20years and especially on that year which marked a new decade for DU as a leading licensee of electronically controlled diesel engines, We again shared the same passion for further company growth.
