【Human Rights Grievance Desk】

The IHI Group is an official member of the Japan Center for Engagement and Remedy on Business and Human Rights (JaCER), that provides a non-judicial platform for grievance redress and acts in a professional capacity to support and promote redress of grievances by its member companies.
The JaCER grievance form below is available to all the people, entities, or groups in the IHI Group value chain, to report actual or suspected human rights violation.



  • The IHI Group prohibits any retaliatory actions or disadvantageous treatment against claimants and individuals involved in the reporting process.
  • Reports received by JaCER are shared with IHI and are strictly managed as "Highly Confidential" information.
  • JaCER updates its case lists and ensures the anonymity of whistleblowers and relevant companies

＜Applicable Cases＞

All stakeholders in the value chain involving the IHI Group may use the grievance mechanism if they discover, experience, or suspect adverse human rights impacts arising from the IHI Group’s business activities.


＜Applicable Users＞

  • Officers, employees, and temporary staff of IHI Group companies may only use the grievance mechanism when the case concerns stakeholders outside the IHI Group.

  • To officers, employees, and temporary staff of IHI Group companies: Please use your company’s internal reporting system when the case concerns internal matters of the IHI Group.
