28AHX-DF dual-fuel engine has accredited a design approval by ClassNK
The newly developed medium-speed dual-fuel engine 28AHX-DF with a
maximum rated power per cylinder of 320kW has successfully accredited a
design approval by the Nippon Kaiji Kyokai (ClassNK). The 28AHX-DF,
which is installed as a prime mover of the first LNG-tug boat in Japan,
will be taken a trial operation testing and is expected to receive a
type approval in December.
