The new construction of Unit No. 2 for Tokyo Electric Power’s Hachijojima internal combustion power plant was completed
NIIGATA Power Systems Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as “NIIGATA”)
has recently completed the new construction and delivery of Unit No. 2
for the Hachijojima internal combustion power plant ordered by Tokyo
Electric Power with no trouble.
Unit No. 2 for the Hachijojima internal combustion power plant that was
completed this time consists of one 12V28HLX (4000kw) diesel engine we
manufactured. This diesel engine that generates the highest power among
those in this power plant plays an important role in achieving a stable
power supply even during periods of peak demand for electricity in
summer when this island is crowded with many sightseers.
NIIGATA has constructed many diesel and gas power stations both at home
and abroad, including the power plants on remote islands, and has been
respected for its high product quality. We will continue to develop
positive sales activities for the new construction business.
