Received the award for the best presentation at 7th CIMAC CASCADES

At the 7th CIMAC CASCADES held in Hangzhou, China on October 15, 2015, Dr. Zhide Xu from Engineering & Technology Center made a presentation and received the award for the best presentation.

“CASCADES”, a coined acronym consisting of the initial letters of “CAse Studies in Combustion engine Applications and Design ExperienceS”, is a technical seminar for less-experienced young engineers including students all over the world. It is intended not only to exchange the latest information on technologies but also to create networks among young engineers.

”CIMAC” (The International Council on Combustion Engines), headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, was established in 1951 following a proposal by France. CIMAC is an international association of internal-combustion engines (piston engines and gas turbines), which consists of manufacturers, users, component suppliers, classification societies, research organizations, universities and other interested bodies. Mr. Yasuhiro Itoh, who is the executive technical advisor (former executive vice president) of our company, served as the president of CIMAC during the last period (from June 2010 to May 2013).
