Delivery of Dual-Fuel Emergency Power Generator
to Tokyo Gas Negishi LNG Terminal

NIIGATA Power Systems Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as NIIGATA) has delivered and successfully handed over an emergency power generator for Tokyo Gas Negishi LNG Terminal. NIIGATA had delivered one emergency power generator and one stationary power generator in the past, and this is the delivery of the third generator.

This delivered generator is used a dual-fuel emergency power generator of the CNT-6000EN-DF type gas turbine (power generation output: 6000 kVA). The CNT-6000EN-DF type gas turbine is a genuine domestically-produced motor developed by NIIGATA and has dual-fuel specifications that enable operation using kerosene and city gas (Natural gas) as fuel. Due to its simple structure with less components, high reliability and easy maintenance and inspection have been achieved.

The Negishi LNG terminal, the first to receive LNG in Japan in 1969, is an important terminal for supplying natural gas, which is a clean energy source, to various areas, including the Tokyo metropolitan area. The delivered emergency power generator plays an important role to support stable energy supply in an emergency situation.
