Delivery of an Emergency Gas Turbine Power Generating System
to Dai Nagoya Building

NIIGATA Power Systems Co., Ltd., (hereinafter referred to as NIIGATA) has delivered and successfully handed over an emergency gas turbine power generating system for Dai Nagoya Building.

The emergency power generating system that NIIGATA delivered this time is equipped with two CNT-2000E-DF gas turbines (with a power generation output of 2,000 kVA, dual fuel type) and one CNT-2000E gas turbine (with a power generation output of 2,000 kVA, dedicated for combustion of liquid fuels). The gas turbines used for this system are domestic power engines developed by NIIGATA. With a simple structure with fewer components, they have realized high reliability and easy maintenance.
In addition, since the dual-fuel type gas turbines can be operated with both medium-pressure gas and liquid fuel whose pipes are highly earthquake-resistant, they can supply power stably and for long hours.

Dai Nagoya Building is a skyscraper complex succeeding the former Dai Nagoya Building that was popular among the local citizens as a symbol located in front of Nagoya Station for the past half century. It has recently begun full operations as a new landmark located in front of the station that is a rapidly developed area. The delivered emergency power generating system plays an important role in supporting the safety of many visitors in an emergency situation.

NIIGATA has an excellent track record of not only delivering emergency power generating systems to various places but also constructing diesel and gas power generation plants both domestically and internationally, earning a high level of trust in terms of quality and performance. We will continue to proactively develop sales activities toward business negotiations on new facility construction.
