The AKER H-4.2 is a twin-hull Semi-Submersible vessel, with a transverse truss arrangement between eight stability columns supporting a superstructure.

Special features include:

  • large storage capacity,
  • harsh environment measures including an essentially flush underside of the lower deck by the introduction of an internally stiffened double bottom,
  • preparation for installation of additional winterization measures,
  • readily adaptable to dynamic positioning (optional installation of additional thrusters as well as increased power generation capacity available).
