Background

CF34-8 Fan Blade found unserviceable due to eroded leading edges, FOD and oversized pinhole caused by wear.

Repair process

IHI is the only company offering all Engine Manual repairs including source substantiation repairs.

• Leading edge profile re-contouring by adaptive milling
• Salvaging FOD blade by hot forming and patch repairs
• Oversized of pinholes with ECI indication can be repaired using bushing
  (SB72-0137 for -8C, and SB72-0060 for -8E)
