DU started the endurance test of Trace of friction powder-Detector (TF-Detector) which DU and Meiyo Electric Co. cooperated to develop and presented in the Japan Institution of Marine Engineering in this spring.
 
TF-Detector promises safe operation with minimum cylinder lubricant feed rate. Operator can control cylinder lubricant feed rate to minimize with watching to friction powder density.
 
TF-Detector can be also applied to the various machines moving in oil, because TF-Detector can watch the friction powder density in oil continuously on-line by installing it like thermometer or pressure gauge.
