Paul Wurth IHI Co., Ltd. (hereinafter, “PWIHI|”) is pleased to announce that PWIHI has completed a new construction of Coke Oven Battery 2E at Nippon Steel & Sumitomo Metal Kashima Works and the operation of this new battery started in May 2018. This is the second new coke oven battery delivered to Kashima Works by PWIHI following Coke Oven Battery 1F which commenced operation in August 2016.

PWIHI actively introduces cutting-edge knowledge and technologies such as ones related to environment, energy saving and lower CO2 emissions, and proposes coke ovens together with conventional meticulous engineering power, thus contributing to the stable supply of products of our customers, steel manufacturing companies.
