The following two points were critical in introducing this distribution system:
- Introducing the IHI picking system to the single-tier storage area on the first floor and the rack area on the third floor
- Adopting the IHI sorting system with shuttles and servers for sorting items according to the order of stores
Thanks to the above, increased sorting speed, reduced incorrect shipments, and streamlined sorting space were achieved. The IHI logistics system was introduced in construction work to expand branches in Sendai, Akita, Kanagawa Center, and Sendai.
