Launch of H-ⅡA Launch Vehicle No. 26

The H-ⅡA launch vehicle No. 26 was launched at 1:22:04 p.m on December 3, 2014. from the Tanegashima Space Center, and successfully put the Hayabusa2 into its scheduled orbit. IHI Aerospace Co., Ltd. was involved at every step in the development and manufacture of the H-ⅡA's solid rocket boosters (SRB-A), the pyrotechnics for the stage separation and the second-stage reaction control gas jets, and also provided launch support at the site. We also took charge of the re-entry capsule of the Hayabusa2 and a part of Small Carry-on Impactor which is a device to create an artificial crater of the asteroid, by which we can acquire data not only about surface but also about the inside of the asteroid.

The H-ⅡA launch vehicle No. 25 was launched at 2:16:00 p.m on Oct 7, 2014 from the Tanegashima Space Center, and successfully put the Himawari-8 into its scheduled orbit. IHI Aerospace Co., Ltd. was involved at every step in the development and manufacture of the H-ⅡA's solid rocket boosters (SRB-A), the pyrotechnics for the stage separation and the second-stage reaction control gas jets, and also provided launch support at the site.

Launch of H-ⅡA Launch Vehicle No. 24

The H-ⅡA launch vehicle No. 24 was launched at 12:05:14 p.m on May 24, 2014. from the Tanegashima Space Center, and successfully put the Advanced Land Observing Satellite-2 “DAICHI-2”(ALOS-2) into its scheduled sun-synchronous orbit. IHI Aerospace Co., Ltd. was involved at every step in the development and manufacture of the H-ⅡA's solid rocket boosters (SRB-A), the pyrotechnics for the stage separation and the second-stage reaction control gas jets, and also provided launch support at the site. IA also participated in the manufacture and assembly of propulsion components in DAICHI-2.

The H-ⅡA launch vehicle No. 23 was launched on February 28, 2014, at 03:37 a.m. from the Tanegashima Space Center, and sent the Global Precipitation Measurement(GPM) core observatory onboard into its scheduled orbit. IHI Aerospace Co., Ltd. was involved at every step in the development and manufacture of the H-ⅡA's solid rocket boosters (SRB-A), the pyrotechnics for the separation of rocket stages, and the second-stage reaction control, gas jets, and also provided support for the liftoff at the launch site.
