Features
A fully automated filter designed with a simple structure without drive unit
The RZ Type is our standard IHI-Fundabac filter. It filters materials through filter cloths attached to the numerous candles placed inside the vessel. Post-filtration processes can be fully automated, including drying and discharging the cake to cleaning the filter cloths. With a simple structure without a drive unit, the filter can be applied to large filtration areas. Sealing components are critical in the filtration process, and IHI has developed a unique seal hose to achieve a leak-free and stable operation.
Structure
The IHI-Fundabac Filter comprises three primary components: filter vessel, candles (filter elements), and register pipes. These components are available in a wide range of materials. The filter vessels are available in stainless steel, carbon steel, or feature rubber or titanium lining. The filter elements are available in reinforced polypropylene resin (PPR), polyvinylidene fluoride resin (PVDF), and other synthetic resin dehydration in addition to stainless steel. The filter cloths are available in polyester, polypropylene, polyphenylene sulfide (PPS), nylon, PTFE, and other synthetic fibers.
