Regarding the reacquisition of ISO9001 certification by IHI Power Systems
IHI’s 100% subsidiary, IHI Power Systems Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as IPS), announces that they have received a notification dated January 20, 2025, from Bureau Veritas Japan Co., Ltd., an ISO 9001※1 certification body, regarding the extension of the scope of ISO 9001 certification.
IPS had its ISO9001 certification partially revoked for the Niigata Engine Plant and the Ota Plant as of August 2, 2024.
However, following a special audit, they have successfully reacquired the ISO9001 certification.
We sincerely apologize once again for the significant inconvenience caused to our customers and stakeholders. The IHI Group is committed to implementing thorough measures to prevent recurrence and will work collectively to regain the trust of all stakeholders.
