IHI Group Awarded Bronze EcoVadis Medal for Sustainability Performance
IHI Group announced that it has been awarded the Bronze Medal in the sustainability assessment conducted by EcoVadis, a France-based company.
EcoVadis provides assessment data on the sustainability efforts of more than 150,000 companies worldwide via a global cloud-based platform. The sustainability assessment is comprehensive in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. "Bronze Medal" indicates that a company is among the top 35% of companies evaluated.
In this year’s assessment, overall scores improved compared to the previous evaluation, with particularly high ratings in the Environment and Ethics categories.
The IHI Group will further promote sustainability initiatives to enhance social and corporate value.
