The IHI Group is dedicated to creating a sustainable world where nature and technology coexist, focusing on preventing natural disasters and enhancing safety and comfort for society.
At this exhibition, we showcase cutting-edge marine robots, including autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) and autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs), which are essential for ocean exploration.
We also present our ocean monitoring service, iOMS, which utilizes AIS (Automatic Identification System) and SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) data to track vessels and provide valuable marine information. Furthermore, we highlight our efforts in commercializing the satellite-based VDES (VHF Data Exchange System), anticipated as the next-generation AIS.
Additionally, we propose a satellite-linked service to deliver marine data collected by AUVs and ASVs directly to offices, supporting advanced ocean development.
Through collaboration and innovative space-related technology, we aim to realize a harmonious “FUTURE OCEAN” and maximize its potential.
