IHI Participated as a Speaker at the “JPX Innovation Forum 2026” Organized by JPX Market Innovation & Research
On March 5, 2026, an IHI representative from the Corporate Communications Division participated as a speaker in a dialogue session at the “JPX Innovation Forum 2026,” organized by JPX Market Innovation & Research, Inc., and held at KABUTO ONE (Nihonbashi Kabutocho, Chuo-ku, Tokyo). This forum was organized to explore better approaches to corporate disclosure by sharing how investor use of disclosed corporate information is changing in response to advances in AI technology. The event attracted a wide range of stakeholders, particularly those involved in IR and sustainability promotion.
The theme of the dialogue session was “How to Communicate IR Information with AI as a Reader,” moderated by Japan Exchange Group, Inc. Sustainable Lab Inc., which provides services to enhance AI readability, and IHI, which utilizes these services, participated as speakers. The discussion covered a broad range of corporate disclosures, including not only IR information but also integrated reports and sustainability-related disclosures. In particular, participants shared the growing importance of AI readability, given the rapid emergence of AI as a “new information recipient” capable of collecting, summarizing, and comparing corporate information.
From the perspective of practical integrated report preparation, IHI presented several key points:
(1) the challenge of delivering necessary information in an accessible way to readers who are newly interested in IHI amid a large volume of disclosures;
(2) the importance of technical measures to improve AI readability and the need to collaborate with external partners, such as production companies, through a shared understanding; and
(3) the significance of viewing investments in AI readability not only in terms of short-term cost-effectiveness but also as forward-looking investments for a future in which humans and AI coexist.
Going forward, IHI will continue to respond proactively to changes in the information usage environment, enhance the clarity and comparability of information for stakeholders, and strive to improve the quality of disclosure to increase corporate value.
