Today, as a member of the IHI Group, we play an integral role in the aviation, space, and defense sectors.
The environment surrounding our business is constantly changing. In the space sector, supported by government initiatives, private sector-led space utilization is accelerating further and has become indispensable for addressing issues related to security and the global environment. In the defense sector, rapid changes in the global security environment have led to calls for a fundamental reinforcement of defense capabilities. Our solid rocket technology now plays an important role with a significant social mission in both space and defense fields. In the aviation sector, growing passenger demand has increased the need for improved fuel efficiency and decarbonization in line with the global trend toward carbon neutrality.
