The IHI Group constructed the first GOLDEN HORN bridges in 1974. In 1993, the new GOLDEN HORN bridge was designed and constructed by the IHI Group in response to heavy traffic congestion. These two bridges play important roles in traffic in Istanbul and economic growth in Turkey.
