IHI offered IM270 Combined Heat and Power (Cogeneration) system to Energy Advance CO., LTD in November 2003 for Ebina Plant of Coca-Cola East Japan Products Co.,Ltd.

This Combined Heat and Power (Cogeneration) system generates 6.0 t/h steam recovering the thermal energy of GT exhuast gas with HRSG(Heat Recovery Steam Generator) during 2,100 kW power generation.
Under the conclusion of shared savings contract between Energy Advance CO., LTD. and Coca-Cola East Japan Products Co., Ltd., they detemined to apply Business Support Project on the Rational Use of Energy to the project.
It realized energy saving and reduction of GHG emission with rated load operation of CHP system by effective utilization of CHP system with accumulator equipments.
Customers were satisfied with the CHP system performance because the system accomplished the the environmental conservation goals and the energy saving ratio of 8.2% and the CO2 emission reduction ratio were exceeded than those expected.
